1286 El Jefe, La Aroma de Cuba Cigar Box Purse
This as an absolutely gorgeous cigar box purse and quite roomy. Sometime you just have to leave perfection alone and that’s what I did with this one. This upcycled cigar box purse starts out as an El Jefe (translates The Boss) La Aroma de Cuba cigar box with a slide opening, dovetail detailing in the corners, very dark brown wood and gold lettering. The beautiful gold seal has been left intact. I added a beatiful, large, gold and rhinestone brooch to the front of the cigar box purse- so pretty! I painted the back black and added gold purse feet to the back and bottom for protection. A crystal knob closure has been added for security. When you slide this cigar box bag open you will see that it is lined with lovely padded leopard fabric. This cigar box purse does not have my typical beaded handle, but instead comes with the gold chain. The chain can be worn cross body, over the shoulder, over the wrist, or removed to use as a jewelry box if you wish! Get ready to be stopped in the street- not for the shy! 7.75 x 6.25 x 4.24″ – nice and deep. This cigar box originates in Nicaragua and was found here in Tampa. THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
