1419 Rocky Patel Black Bling Cigar Box Clutch/Cross Body Purse

This is one of those hard to find, special, cigar boxes that is beautiful and sexy on it’s own merit- a black, wooden, Rocky Patel 15th Anniversary. It has a antique silver emblem on the front lid. I simply add a bit of bling! When I say a bit, i mean a ton! I will let the pictures do the talking! I personally feel that this clutch or cross body bag would look just as cute with a black evening gown as it would with your favorite pair of jeans and a tee.  I flipped the up cycled cigar box so that the opening is now on the top and gave it a heavy silver lock for security. Eight silver purse feet have been added to the back and bottom for protection. The inside has been lovingly lined in padded black velvet and black lace trim. I painted the back black. This one comes with the chunky, silver cross body chain that can be removed so that the cigar box can be used as a clutch or slung cross body style when you want to be hands free. The  silver tone chain is approximately 49″ long.  6.25 x 9 x 2″ THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description. If you don’t like what you see, I can do custom cigar box purses and can include anything you like!- pictures of family members, pets, places- you name it! I always ship insured.  Feel free to call me! 813-655-8003-Home- Also please sign up for emails via this site and follow Humadorables by Susan on Facebook and Instagram to get in on sales and new products.  https://www.facebook.com/Humadorables/     https://www.instagram.com/humadorablebysusan/

History: Rakesh “Rocky” Patel entered the cigar business through a less conventional path than many of today’s prominent cigar-makers who are often continuing a family tradition that’s been in place for generations. In the early 1990s, Rocky was working as an entertainment and product liability lawyer in Los Angeles. A cigar-smoking girlfriend introduced Rocky to premium cigars and convinced him to join the Grand Havana Room in Beverly Hills. He became enamored with cigars and decided to get into the business at the urging of some friends. In 1996, Patel attended his first industry trade show where he debuted Indian Tabac, his first brand. Although Patel is Indian, the company was named in reference to the Indian Motorcycle brand to whom he paid a royalty for use of the name. The cigars were an instant hit with retailers who clamored for all the product they could get their hands on in the midst of the Cigar Boom. Determined to prove detractors wrong who proclaimed, in his early days, he would never last in the cigar business, Rocky Patel continues to thrive and expand in many corners of the industry. He is now owner of the Tavicusa cigar factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. He has also become a vocal advocate for the rights of cigar smokers and the premium cigar industry, testifying before Congress and standing up against egregious FDA regulation on a host of news channels.
