1536 Vintage Blue and Brown Equestrian Scarf Cigar Box Purse

I just can’t  seem to get enough of these beautiful scarf images and they seem to lend themselves so well with my cigar box purse creations! This is another vintage scarf ( expensive and starts with a H ) that has been decoupaged onto a brown, wooden, Finck’s Commerce cigar box with dovetail detailing in the corners. The scarf has the most beautiful equestrian motif. I added gold corner protectors and an classic, gold equestrian finding of two horses with riders placed in the middle of the image. Please zoon in! The cigar box has been flipped so that the opening is now on the top  and has been given a gold three ball lock for security. I painted the back black and sealed it. Eight gold purse feet have been added to the back and bottom for protection. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain in the last photo is available, but not included. The handle is made up of gold beads and a very lovely brown tassel. The inside has been lovingly lined with padded leopard fabric and black lace trim. The original and authentic Finck logo remains on the inner lid. 8 x 8.75 x 2″ ** THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description. If you don’t like what you see, I can do custom cigar box purses and can include anything you like!- pictures of family members, pets, places- you name it! I always ship insured. History: Bill Finck Sr.’s great-grandfather Reinhold Finck came to San Antonio in 1852 from Württemberg, Germany, via New Orleans. In 1861 he began publishing the San Antonio News in both English and German. Mr. Finck’s grandfather Henry began the Finck Cigar factory in the 1880s. Bill Finck explains the history of the cigar factory and the process of making cigars, from purchasing the tobacco in Connecticut, Cuba, and South America, to the making of hand-rolled cigars by Rafaela Sanchez, an eighty-year-old woman employed by the company for over seventy years. Mr. Finck also tells of his days in the state legislature and the burning of his $2,700 state paycheck, which made headline news.
