809 Upcycled Vintage Gear and Compass Cigar Box Purse

My version of steampunk- this cigar box purse starts out as an A. Fuente, Best Seller, blonde, wooden cigar box found in Tampa. I love to use these because they are actually shaped like little purses and they are so sturdy. I flipped it so that the opening is now on the top and gave it a heavy, black nickel lock closure for security. The front has been decoupaged with vintage images of gears and a bronze metal compass has been securely glued on to that. The back has been painted black. Gold feet have been added to the back and bottom of this cigar box purse for protection. Silver hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or crossbody. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. Just contact me if you need one. The chain in the last photo is available, but not included. The handle is made up of black, brown and silver beads and sports a big fat brown tassel.  The interior has the original A. Fuente red velvet label on the lid and the original black velvet lining on the bottom. I finished the sides with black lace trim.8(top)/ 7.25(bottom) x 5.25 x 3. THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
