813 Fleur de Lis Up Cycled Cigar Box Purse

I kind of want to keep this one! The good news is that I can make another! This cigar box purse starts out as a blonde, wooden Best Seller by Arturo Fuente cigar box. These sturdy Best Seller cigar boxes are some of my favorites as they are shaped like purses to begin with. I flipped it so that the opening is now on the top and gave it a heavy black nickel closure for security. The front has been decoupaged with black paper that has little beige / gold crowns on it. On to that, I securely attached a rhinestone encrusted fleur de lis that used to be a brooch- so pretty! I painted the back black and gold purse feet have been added to the back and bottom of the cigar box purse for protection. Gold  hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or crossbody. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. Just contact me if you need one. The chain in the last photo is available, but not included. The handle is made up of black, gold and silver beads and a gold tassel.  The interior has the original A. Fuente red velvet label on the lid and the original black velvet lining on the bottom. I finished the sides with black lace trim.8(top)/ 7.25(bottom) x 5.25 x 3. THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
