1699 Blues and Brown Dreams Cigar Box Purse
This is another color combination that I just love- blue and brown! This blue and brown, kaleidoscope of an image has been decoupaged onto the front of a rich brown H. Upmann, A.J. Fernandez, Heritage cigar box. There is a kind of onion? artichoke? in the center. Either way, it’s just such a lovely, dreamy image! The box itself has the original labels and seals authentically left because I feel they add to the overall effect of the up cycled purse. I want people to know that my little creations are cigar boxes!- And some of these labels are just so colorful and pretty! The inside of the purse also has the dark blue H. Upmann logo and dark blue wooden side slats. I lined it with padded black velvet and black lace sides. The handle is made of all big, brown, wooden beads and a big dark blue tassel- so fabulous! I painted the back black and sealed it. I flipped the cigar box so that the opening is now on the top and it has been given a gold three ball lock for security. Eight gold purse feet have been added to the back and bottom and eight gold corner protectors to the front and back for protection. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain in the last photo is available, but not included. The inside has been lined with padded and plush red velvet and gold trim- just stunning. The beaded handle has gold wooden beads and a red crystal bead with a fat gold tassel. 7 x 8.5 x 3.25″ THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
