1885 Booze, Beads, Booty, Bayshore Gasparilla Cigar Box Purse
For those of you not familiar with Gasparilla here in Tampa, it’s a BIG deal! In January, pirates invade the city by boat, the mayor cedes and gives them the key to the city, the bay is full of boats and pirates, followed by a boozey, parade with hundreds of krewe floats throwing thousands of strung beads down Bayshore Blvd. The celebration goes on well into March as well as many more parades, art festivals, 10ks. This upcycled, black wooden cigar box purse celebrates all of that and is the perfect accessory for all of your Gasparilla activities for now and well into the future!. The cigar box itself is a La Fleur Dominicana. Four clear crystals frame the purse. The white acrylic chain comes with the purse and of course you may attach any other chain, ribbon etc. if you prefer. I lined the interior with padded black and white skull and cross bone fabric and red trim. The original and authentic label on the inner lid remains as well as a colorful little seal. Eight gold purse feet protect the back and bottom of the upcycled cigar box bag as well as eight gold corner protectors on the front and back. I flipped the cigar box so that the opening is now on the top and it has been given a gold three ball lock for security. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. 7.5 x 6 x 3″ THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
