SOLD 1413 Leopard Skull Gasparilla Cigar Box Purse

1413 Leopard Skull Gasparilla Cigar Box Purse

I guarantee compliments when you wear this little Gasparilla skull purse????! Tampa is famous for it’s Gasparilla celebration in January when the pirates come into Tampa Bay on a big vintage ship and invade the city. Lots of beads, parades, and drinking are involved in this celebration and it goes on forever with float after float! This image has been decoupaged onto a La Aroma de Cuba, dark brown, wooden, slide opening cigar box. The beautiful gold seal and gold lettering on the slide opening cigar box have all been left authentically intact. Under the image reads, ” Gasparilla Est 1904″. I gave this one a crystal knob closure for security. The back of the cigar box bag has been painted black. Eight gold purse feet have been added to the back and bottom for protection.  Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain in the last photo is available, but not included. The inside has been lovingly lined with leopard velvet fabric and red trim. The handle is made up of gold, silver, red and skull with crystal eyed beads and a black tassel. 6.5 x  6.25 x 4.25″ – nice and deep! There may be slight differences as no two are exactly the same. THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED!  Large flaws will be noted in the description. If you don’t like what you see, I can do custom cigar box purses and can include anything you like!- pictures of family members, pets, places- you name it! I always ship insured. History: La Aroma de Cuba transcends roots that date back to the late 1880s in Cuba, where the brand became an early favorite of Winston Churchill. In the midst of Cuba’s rebellion against years of Spanish conquest, Churchill arrived on the island in 1895 as an eager young lieutenant. There, the genesis of his brilliant military career and his avid passion for handmade cigars emerged. More than 120 years later, La Aroma de Cuba embraces an entirely fresh and prominent heritage in Nicaragua. The brand’s modern-day revival began in the early 2000s with a series of popular handcrafted releases clad in boxes and bands that featured original La Aroma de Cuba artwork. Cigar lovers embraced the brand’s classic old-world appeal and its sophisticated and invigorating taste. Today, La Aroma de Cuba is blended by legendary cigar-maker Jose ‘Pepin’ Garcia in Estelí, Nicaragua. Pepin’s foundation in Nicaragua is preceded by his extensive reputation in Cuba as a master blender. For decades, Pepin oversaw production of a number of Cuba’s most revered brands. As a result, La Aroma de Cuba displays a deep allegiance to its Cuban hallmarks as Pepin blends the brand’s award-winning portfolio of premium cigars with his son, Jaime Garcia. Generations of meticulous cigar-making craft influence the unrivaled standards for flavor, aroma, and quality expressed in La Aroma de Cuba cigars. The finest aged tobaccos are attentively blended to deliver awe-inspiring taste and balance in honor of an extensive Garcia family tradition.
