2388 Chinoiserie Beetle Cigar Box Purse
New and oh so pretty and fresh! The blue and green Asian bamboo image has been decoupaged onto the front and back of a natural wood, Drew Estate, Liga Privada cigar box with dovetail detailing and wrapper still in tact. The repurposed, blue and white, chinoiserie beetle brooch is the star of the show. The handle is done in all light blue wooden beads to match with a green crystal bead in the center and a light blue silk tassel. I lined the interior with padded and plush blue velvet and green ball trim. It’s one of my new crushes! 5.75 x 7 x 4″
I flipped the cigar box so that the opening is now on the side and it has been given a gold three ball lock for security. Gold feet have also been added to the back and bottom along with gold corner protectors to the front and back of the purse for protection. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or crossbody. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain in the last photo is available, but not included.
THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description. If you don’t like what you see, I can do custom cigar box purses and can include anything you like!- pictures of family members, pets, places- you name it! I always ship insured.
