2224 Evening at the Yacht Club Cigar Box Purse
I’ve done similar cigar box purses with this image and they sell before I can get them on my site! So gorgeous- I guarantee compliments! I started with a black, wooden Midnight Express cigar box. This cigar box purse has been adorned with a vintage, nautical, Hermes scarf image. The image has black and white nautical stripes with a very ornate crown, anchor and rope design- stunning! Then, I added a gold and rhinestone anchor brooch to the center. The original seal has been left in tact. I painted the back black and sealed it.
Eight gold purse feet have been added to the back and bottom and eight gold corner protectors to the back and front for protection. I flipped the cigar box so that the opening is now on the top and gave it a three ball lock closure for security. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain in the photo on my mannequin, Suzy, is available, but not included. The inside has been lined in padded and plush black velvet and black petal trim. The inner lid is adorned with the original Midnight Express logo and has been left as is for authenticity sake. The handle is made of lovely black, and crystal beads and boasts a substantial black silk tassel. 6.75 x 8.75 x 2.25″
**THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
