1894 Flamingo Bling Cigar Box Purse
Once in a while one of my Flamingo Bling cigar box purses is lucky enough to make it to my online boutique. They usually get scooped up by Tampa International Airport and can be found in flocks under Phoebe, the big pink flamingo. This one starts out as a vintage, wooden, Fuente, Flora Fina 8-5-8 cigar box. mI decoupaged the lovely image of three flamingos with the word FLORIDA onto the front of the now purse and added four gold scrolls and four pink crystals to the corners. The handle is made up of pink, pink gingham and crystal beads and sports a pink vegan leather tassel. The inside is a bit different as it is separated into two compartments. I lined it with padded and plush pink velvet and pink trim. The original and authentic red velvet Fuente label remains as is. **Please not that there is a little wear on the vintage label. The back of the upcycled purse has also been left as is. Eight gold purse feet protect the back and bottom. I flipped the cigar box so that the opening is now on the top and it has been given a gold three ball lock for security. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain in the last photo is available, but not included. 6.5 x 8 x 4.25″- nice and deep. THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
