2205 La Aroma de Cuba Yellow Cigar Box Purse
This beautiful, upcycled, gem of a purse starts out as a La Aroma de Cuba, Edicion Especial, No. 3 cigar box. It has gorgeous labels and trim inside and out! Four gold filigree corners have been added to the front and I painted the back black and sealed it. The original images and labels have all been left as is- so pretty! This is a balsa wood cigar box, but still sturdy and the fact that it’s lined makes it even more so. The inside is lined to match with padded and plush yellow velvet and blue petal trim- so extra! I did the handle in yellow, blue and crystal beads with a gold and rhinestone heart and crown charm. 6.5 x 10.75 x 2.25″
The ornate antique gold lock has been added to the bottom of the cigar box for security. Eight gold feet protect the back and bottom and four gold corner protectors further protect the back. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain on my mannequin, Suzy, is available, but not included.
