1987 Palm Fronds Cigar Box Purse
I just love the combination of this very dark brown, wooden Blind Man’s Bluff cigar box and the green of the palm fronds! The airy and tropicalimage has been decoupaged to the front of the repurposed handbag. The back of the cigar box has been left authentically as is with the unusual combination of a word search and an imaage of a man, smoking a cigar and holding a pistol while riding a unicycle! I flipped the cigar box purse so that the opening is now on the top and a gold ball lock added for security. Gold purse feet have been added to the back and bottom and gold corner protectors to the front and back of the cigar box bag for protection. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain in the last photo is available, but not included. The interior has been lined in padded and plush green velvet and cream petal trim and the original Blind Man’s Bluff logo remains on the inner lid. The handle is made up of big, natural wooden beads beads along with a hemp tassel. 7 x 9 x 2.25″** THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
