2068 Sorrento Tiles Cigar Box Purse
The beautiful tile image has been decoupaged onto an A.J. Fernandez, Rosa de Guadalupe, wooden cigar box with blue trim and a lovely label on the inner lid. Reminiscent of the beautiful tiles seen all over Sorrento, this cigar box seems to lend itself to the image. Teal blue bling has been added to the sides. I painted the back black and sealed it. The inside has been lined in padded and plush blue velvet and blue petal trim. You’ll look for an excuse to open it to show it off! I did the handle with blue, teal, aqua, yellow, and crystal beads and a substantial dark blue silk tassel. You can almost smell the lemon blossoms of Sorrento!
I flipped the repurposed cigar box purse so that the opening is now on top and gave it a gold three ball lock for security. Eight gold purse feet have been added to the back and bottom and eight gold corner protectors to the front and back for protection. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or crossbody. I sell straps and gold and silver crossbody chains too. The chain on my mannequin, Suzy, is available, but not included. 7 x 9.75 x 2.5″ THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
