1379 Cowgirl Cigar Box Slide Opening Crossbody Purse

So, this absolutely darling cowgirl cigar box purse started with me finding a black rhinestone encrusted steer brooch and cleaning out my closets and finding a dress that I no longer fit into all in the same day! The material of the dress is so cute- black background and lots of rodeo cowboys. So, I took this dark brown, slide opening, SLR, Serie G, Rothchild cigar box and turned it into one of my Humadorables! The black rhinestone encrusted brooch is the main star along with 7 black crystals and 1 clear crystal- just adorable!  I painted the back black and gave it a protective coating. Eight gold purse feet have been added to the back and bottom for protection. A crystal knob closure has been added to the slide opening for extra security. This one comes with the chunky, gold,  crossbody chain! You’ll look for an excuse to open it up and show off the inside padded, cowboy print! The  gold tone chain is approximately 49″ long.  7 x 9.25 x 2″ THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description. If you don’t like what you see, I can do custom cigar box purses and can include anything you like!- pictures of family members, pets, places- you name it! I always ship insured. Feel free to call me! 813-655-8003

History: Wikipedia- The marca or brand San Luis Rey is believed to be based on a reference to the popular 1927 novel by American author Thornton WilderThe Bridge of San Luis Rey. The brand itself was first registered in Cuba by the Zamora y Guerra Co., located at 810 Calle Maximo Gómez in Havana.[2] In 1940, the name Saint Luis Rey was registered by two English tobacco importers, Nathan Silverstone and Michael De Keyser.[3][4] The Saint Luis Rey factory and its assets were nationalized by the Cuban government on September 15, 1960.[5] From 1960 until 1992, the brand was marketed exclusively on the UK market by NR Silverstone Cigar Ltd.[6] In 1993, Habanos S.A. began exporting this brand worldwide. The brand is today produced at the Briones Montoto factory in Havana, where Romeo y Julieta cigars are produced.

[7]In the US, the Saint Luis Rey trademark was registered by Altadis. In 2008, Altadis was acquired by the British tobacco giant Imperial Tobacco (now Imperial Brands). Imperial now markets the Altadis USA line of non-Cuban cigars with the Saint Luis Rey brand name incorporating a blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan or Peruvian long filler tobaccos and a Nicaraguan binder and wrapper.
