1340 Black Gran Habano Crown Brooch Cigar Box Purse
This is the first Gran Habano cigar box I’ve found in years! They are so pretty! It’s a black, wooden, Imperiales #3 with a 2008 date on it. Let me start by saying it is Not A Cuban Cigar Box but rather from Honduras! The colorful red, gold and green label wraps around to the back of the cigar box. I attached the gold and rhinestone crown brooch front and center- so gorgeous! I started the recycling process by painting the back of the cigar box black and adding eight gold purse feet to the back and bottom of the cigar box purse for protection. The cigar box purse has been flipped so that the opening is now on the top and has been given a secure and oh so cute three ball closure for security. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain in the last photo is available, but not included. The handle is made up of gold, black, red, and silver beads and a black vegan leather tassel. The interior has been lined with padded and plush red velvet. The inner lid is graced with the traditional red Gran Habano label with a vintage ship at sea, fort, and crest. 6.75 x 5.75 x 4.5″ – nice and deep. THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description. If you don’t like what you see, I can do custom cigar box purses and can include anything you like!- pictures of family members, pets, places- you name it! I always ship insured. Feel free to call me! 813-655-8003

History: Tobacco farmer and cigar maker, Guillermo Rico, believes in patience building his business slowly and steadily through careful exposure of his cigars to the marketplace. His hallmark is attention to detail and a high reliance on strict quality control in traditional tabaquero fashion. Considering his background, such attention to detail is hardly a surprise. The Rico family history in tobacco stretches back to 1920, when Guillermo Rico’s grandfather began growing dark tobacco. His father succeeded him in 1946, and Guillermo recalls following him around the fields as a child and his mother rolling cigars at home. That legacy continues today in Gran Habano with a strong sense of family tradition embedded into every cigar made in Danlí, Honduras, where in 1998 the factory was established and became the birthplace of our premium cigars and the quintessential Gran Habano look. The legacy of making cigars at Gran Habano continues to be a family affair. Established in Miami, Florida, Guillermo and George Rico, strive for quality in every leaf and cigar in production.
