1449 Vintage Halloween Pin Up Cigar Box Purse
This vintage, pin up image of a sexy witch riding her broom has been decoupaged onto the front of a Avo XO, orange cigar box- so adorable! This little cigar box purse is guaranteed to get you compliments every October for may years to come! Not sure if you know this, but there are not too many originally orange cigar boxes out there! I framed the image with 8 black crystals. I flipped the cigar box so that the opening is now on the top. The original closure has been left as is because it’s very secure. The back of the up cycled cigar box purse has been painted black and eight gold purse feet have been added to the back and bottom for protection. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain in the last photo is available, but not included. The original seal and Surgeon General’s warning have been left intact for authenticity sake. The inside has the original Avo label on the inner lid and I lined it with padded, zebra fabric and orange ball trim. The handle is made up of orange, black and silver beads and a black tassel. 6.25 x 9.5 x 2.25″ THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! Large flaws will be noted in the description. If you don’t like what you see, I can do custom cigar box purses and can include anything you like!- pictures of family members, pets, places- you name it! I always ship insured. History: During his playing days in Puerto Rico, cigar icon and jazz musician Avo Uvezian said that he would purchase a few local cigars each night and place them on top of the piano for anyone who wanted to smoke. Eventually, these cigars became a hit with his fans, and in 1987, Uvezian met Davidoff’s Hendrik “Henke” Kelner. The pair worked to create a special cigar for the musician, which was released the following year, with many offshoot lines following the success of the original. These cigars are hand rolled and made in the Dominican Republic.
