SOLD Black Gingham and Gold Bee Cigar Box Purse

1577 Black Gingham and Gold Bee Cigar Box Purse

This as an absolutely darling little cigar box purse! Bee ready for compliments- I guarantee them! This lovely, fat, golden bumble bee has been placed smack in the middle of the black gingham decoupage! Just adorable! The bee represents doing the impossible and perseverance. It’s body shouldn’t be able to fly and yet, defying physics, it does. The cigar box itself is a Rocky Patel, black, wooden, Number 6 Robusto. The back has the original black velvet and white velvet on the inside. I added black lace around the edges. The Number 6 logo remains authenticallly on the inner lid. The cigar box has been flipped so that the opening is now on the top  and has been given a gold three ball lock for security.  Eight gold purse feet have been added to the back and bottom for protection. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain in the last photo is available, but not included. The handle is made up of all black wooden beads and a black tassel. 6.5 x 8.25 x 2.75″ THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description. If you don’t like what you see, I can do custom cigar box purses and can include anything you like!- pictures of family members, pets, places- you name it! I always ship insured. History: Rakesh “Rocky” Patel entered the cigar business through a less conventional path than many of today’s prominent cigar-makers who are often continuing a family tradition that’s been in place for generations. In the early 1990s, Rocky was working as an entertainment and product liability lawyer in Los Angeles. A cigar-smoking girlfriend introduced Rocky to premium cigars and convinced him to join the Grand Havana Room in Beverly Hills. He became enamored with cigars and decided to get into the business at the urging of some friends. In 1996, Patel attended his first industry trade show where he debuted Indian Tabac, his first brand. Although Patel is Indian, the company was named in reference to the Indian Motorcycle brand to whom he paid a royalty for use of the name. The cigars were an instant hit with retailers who clamored for all the product they could get their hands on in the midst of the Cigar Boom. Determined to prove detractors wrong who proclaimed, in his early days, he would never last in the cigar business, Rocky Patel continues to thrive and expand in many corners of the industry. He is now owner of the Tavicusa cigar factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. He has also become a vocal advocate for the rights of cigar smokers and the premium cigar industry, testifying before Congress and standing up against egregious FDA regulation on a host of news channels.
