2179 Beautiful Bugs Cigar Box Purse
I love this fanciful image of beautiful and colorful bees, moths, beetles and other various bugs on black and white stripes! The cigar box is a very dark brown, wooden El Baton. A gorgeous, repurposed, pink crystal encrusted bee brooch has been attached front and center! The back of the upcycled purse has been left authentically as is. I lined the interior with padded and plush purple velvet and pink brocade trim so you will look for an excuse to open it and show it off! The handle is done in purple and black crystal beads and a substantial black silk tassel- simply fabulous! 7 x 9.25 x 3.5″
I flipped the cigar box so that the opening is now on the top and it has been given a gold three ball lock for security. Eight gold purse feet protect the back and bottom of the purse a nd eight gold corner protectors have been added to the back and front. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain on my mannequin, Suzy, is available, but not included.
** THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! Also, these are all hand made by me, not a machine, so when applicable, fluctuations in my decoupage medium can also occur. ** This cigar box is a little “front heavy” so please flip the tassel to the back when the purse is standing upright! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
