2148 CC Herringbone Cigar Box Purse
This one won’t stick around long- only one! I decoupaged the herringbone print image onto the front of a black Cohiba cigar box- big, but not heavy. Four gold filigree corners and a gold, rhinestone and woven black leather CC brooch further adorn the upcycled purse. Of course the gorgeous, faux Chanel brooch is the shining star! I painted the back of the Cohiba cigar box purse black and sealed it. The inside is beautifully done in padded and plush black velvet and black petal trim. The handle is made up of all black wooden beads and a substantial black silk tassel. 7 x 11.5 x 2.75″
I flipped the cigar box so that the opening is now on the top and it has been given a gold three ball lock for security. Eight gold feet protect the back and bottom and four gold corner protectors further protect the back. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain on my mannequin, Suzy, is available, but not included.
** THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! Also, these are all hand made by me, not a machine, so when applicable, fluctuations in my decoupage medium can also occur. ** This cigar box is a little “front heavy” so please flip the tassel to the back when the purse is standing upright! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
