2203 San Cristobal Parrot Cigar Box Purse
It’s hard to believe that any manufacturer goes to so much trouble to make the vessel for their products so beautiful! This is certainly the case with this San Cristobal, Elegancia, Imperial cigar box. With the classic parrot image surrounded by gold coins, harbor, coat of arms, and flowers, it is a work of art on it’s own! I added four gold filigree corners and painted the back black. The inside is just as gorgeous with padded and plush aqua velvet and petal trim. You’ll look for an excuse to open it up and show it off! I did the handle in gold, pink, aqua and crystal beads and a pale pink silk tassel. 6.5 x 11 x 2.5″
The ornate antique gold lock has been added to the bottom of the cigar box for security. Eight gold feet protect the back and bottom and four gold corner protectors further protect the back. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain on my mannequin, Suzy, is available, but not included.
