SOLD 1402 La Aroma de Cuba Cigar Box Clutch / Crossbody/ Mah Jongg

1402 La Aroma de Cuba Cigar Box Clutch / Crossbody/ Mah Jongg

This is a beautiful, up cycled, La Aroma de Cuba, Mi Amore cigar box that has blue sides, a stunning blue, red and gold trim that wraps around the box, and labels on the inner and outer lid of a lovely senorita with palpitation scenes, flowers, crests, anchors, gold coins and ship at sea- just so pretty! Let me also add that THIS IS NOT A CUBAN CIGAR BOX but originates in Nicaragua. Then, I got my hands on it! I painted the back black and added eight gold purse feet for protection. Four mah jongg tiles have been added to the bottom. Please note that the cigar box clutch doesn’t stand on it’s own. I gave it a white porcelain knob closure for security and lined it with padded black velvet and black lace.  Gold hardware has been attached to the sides to hold the chain that comes with the clutch so that it can be cross bodied. The chain can be wrapped through twice to make it shorter and worn over the wrist as well. The  gold tone chain is approximately 49″ long. Just enough room for cell phone, keys, credit card and lipstick! 7 x 12 x 2″ THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description. If you don’t like what you see, I can do custom cigar box purses and can include anything you like!- pictures of family members, pets, places- you name it! I always ship insured. History: La Aroma de Cuba is an original Cuban brand from the late 1800s, once a favorite of Winston Churchill. Reborn in Nicaragua in the house of legendary cigar-maker, Jose ‘Pepin’ Garcia, La Aroma de Cuba has quickly grown into a mega-brand and one of the hottest cigars on the market. Cigar Aficionado bestowed the brand with an exquisite 93-rating and declared it the ‘#1 Cigar Industry Best Buy in the World.’ La Aroma de Cuba is handcrafted in Estelí, Nicaragua.
