2135 Burnt Orange Hermes Equestrian H Cigar Box Purse
I’ve done this same cigar box bag many times before and it always sells before I can get it on my site! This orange and gunmetal image of a vintage Hermes equestrian scarf has been decoupaged onto the front of a burnt orange (similar to Hermes orange), Camacho, American, Barrel Aged cigar box. These boxes have what they refer to as a grand piano finish- 16 layers of lacquer from the factory and it also comes with a velvet back.** There is a very small nick in the velvet on the back of this purse. The image looks a bit 3 dimensional. I added six rows of black bling to each side of the equestrian image. I did the handle in black wooden and crystal beads and a fat black tassel. The inside has been lovingly lined with padded and plush black velvet and black petal trim.
The cigar box clutch has been flipped so that the opening is now on the top and has been given a gold three ball lock for security. Eight gold purse feet have been added to the back and bottom and eight gold corner protectors to the front and back for protection. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or crossbody. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain in the last photo is available, but not included. 7.75 x 9.25 x 2.5″
THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! Also, these are all hand made by me, not a machine, so when applicable, fluctuations in my decoupage medium can also occur. They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
