2164 Degas Ballerinas Cigar Box Purse
Degas is famous for his bathers and ballerinas, and this is one of his favorite paintings of mine. The image has been decoupaged onto a black, wooden, Tabak cigar box. The back of the repurposed cigar box has been left authentically as is and the original green seal and interior label left in tact. Three rows of black crystal bling adorn the sides of the beautiful ballerinas dressed in pink and preparing for their ballet. The handle is done in black wooden beads with clear and pink crystal beads and a substantial black silk tassel. I lovingly lined the interior with padded and plush hot pink velvet and black trim. 8 x 9.25 x 3.25″
I flipped the cigar box so that the opening is now on the top and it has been given a gold three ball lock for security. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain on my mannequin, Suzy, is available, but not included. ( See below ).
THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! Also, these are all hand made by me, not a machine, so when applicable, fluctuations in my decoupage medium can also occur. They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
