2173 Victorian Plates Cigar Box Purse
This is such a beautiful and unusual image and when I saw it, I knew I would put it on a cigar box and make it the gorgeous purse that it now is! It’s a cherry colored, wooden, Sweet Jane cigar box with the original logo on the inner lid and the back left in it’s original and authentic state. The plates have images of irises, swans, bees, beatles, and the middle one of a woman with Medusa ? like hair all done in pastel shades! I did the handle in gold, pink, and purple beads with a pink multi silk tassel. The inside is lovingly lined with padded and plush hot pink velvet and hot pink petal trim- so feminine and lovely! 6.25 x 9.5 x 2.25″
I flipped the cigar box so that the opening is now on the top and it has been given a gold three ball lock for security. Eight gold purse feet have been added to the back and bottom and eight gold corner protectors have been added to the front and back for protection. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or cross- body. I sell straps and gold and silver cross body chains too. The chain on my mannequin, Suzy, is available, but not included.
** THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! Also, these are all hand made by me, not a machine, so when applicable, fluctuations in my decoupage medium can also occur. They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
