2045 Barbie Cigar Box Purse
In the 1960s, I went straight from Barbies to boys! Did you? Hours were spent in my hand made Barbie Land in our basement. This original, iconic, blonde, ponytailed Barbie with the sunglasses and black and white bathing suite has been decoupaged onto a black, wooden, Tabak cigar box- just adorable if I do say so! I added a bit of pink bling to the sides because it is Barbie, after all! The handle has been done in all black wooden beads and a pink vegan leather tassel. I lovingly lined the inside with padded and plush, hot pink velvet and black trim. The back of the upcycled purse has been left authentically as is and the Tabak label remains authentically on the inner lid.
Eight gold purse feet protect the back and bottom and eight gold corner protectors have been added to the front and back. I flipped the cigar box so that the opening is now on the top and it has been given a gold three ball lock for security. Gold hardware has been attached to the sides so that you may add a strap that you already own. This makes these little cigar box purses of mine versatile in that they can be worn by the handle, over the shoulder or crossbody. I sell straps and gold and silver crossbody chains too. The chain on my mannequin, Suzy, is available, but not included. 7.75 x 8.5 x 3.5″ THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC CIGAR BOX PURSE, SO SMALL FLAWS INFLICTED BY THE SMOKERS OF THE CIGARS ARE TO BE EXPECTED! They only add character and charm! Large flaws will be noted in the description.
